OESPA Announces Civic Engagement Committee

Today OESPA is pleased to announce a special, nonpartisan Civic Engagement Committee.  The group’s mission is to educate the public on issues important to our members and increase member participation in every election.

The upcoming 2020 elections will be two of the most impactful in U.S. history. We need our voices to be heard. We need YOU!

We are seeking committee members to help us lead this effort with the following:

• Ensure all members and their families are registered to vote
• Spread the word about important voting information like deadlines, locations and Vote By Mail requests
• Educate the community on issues important to OCPS classified employees like funding and working conditions
• Mobilize members to cast their votes in August, November and beyond!
