Mission

OESPA’s Mission is to empower and advocate for our members, in order to ensure a quality public education for every student. Our children are our priority. As employees of the Orange County Public Schools providing our children and the taxpayers with the high quality services is our ultimate goal.

Our Union was formed to insure that our members, our skills and our efforts are respected and that our rights are protected. Our Union is determined to insure that the needs of our members regarding working conditions, hour, benefits and salaries are met and are maintained at a level consistent with the needs of our families.

We represent our members before our employer, the School Board of Orange County Public Schools, to the very best of our ability not only in the matters stated above, but also in cases of discipline. We continually strive for a relationship with the School Board based on mutual respect and trust.

However, we remain vigilant in our efforts to assure compliance with our mutually negotiated contract and stand ready to defend it when necessary. As a Union of employees our duty is to our members. Our commitment is to provide them the best services possible.
