Dear OESPA Family,

As we begin another school year I want to thank you all for the opportunity to continue serving as your President. We are currently a Union of approximately 1,900 members and our bargaining team has negotiated for you a raise of 4% with a $500 bonus.

But along with our gains also come challenges. We have to organize to protect our right to bargain. The progress that we have taken for granted in the past is now being challenged. We now must learn to use our right to vote to protect our Public School system which we depend on for employment and to educate our children.

Remember OESPA, our jobs are important to the education and safety of our youth. Your team members along with FEA are leading the fight to make sure our jobs are the careers that we can be proud of. I challenge you to become involved with your union today.
